How close is too close? When is too much?

Dearest Yamapi,

I just came back from Banquescotia Cinema after having watched the "Hunger Games".

Mood: Freaking pissed and upset.
Reason:  I don't know why

I think that this game is like a replay of the "Holocaust", or the times when Roman gladiators were made to battle each other to their deaths for the sake of entertaining the crowd. Just like the way we are following the latest episodes of "House", the characters in the movie/ book were excited to know which child has been killed and how did the victor came to be the sole survivor?  The way they glorified the game. The way they broadcasted the event to the whole world. As if they are dressing up the pig and taking it out for a swing on the ballroom dance floor before the slaughter.

It's disgusting and vulgar.
It's sickening and it gives a bad example to young children who might get the wrong idea after reading the book or watching the movie.

What is the author of this book trying to portray? What is she trying to say? What does she want the younger generation to learn from this book of hers that hasn't already been learnt and dealt with years ago? Why is she trying to unbury the pain that people felt when their loved ones were involved in those situations? What is the purpose of writing this cruel, meaningless book that took lives so lightly and glorifies the killing of children, not only that but also pardoning their acts upon committing such crimes? Is she trying to breed murderers? Trying to make everyone turn into a Luka Magnotta and end up butchering up their lovers as the slightest hint of infidelity? What is she trying to do?

I can't help but think about these questions and it makes my blood boil. I heard people crying in the theatre when we saw the little girl from District 11, Rue, die. Even though its a very sad scene. I only felt anger and no sadness. What the hell was she trying to do? This is so contradicting to her whole concept of "Hunger Games".

Ps: Just in case some "Hunger Games" fan stumbled upon this page by mistake, please don't take this personally. I have no intention of harming the credibility of the author and the movie inspired by the book. These are just my personal opinions and if you agree, Hooray!, if not then please venture away from this place by clicking the back/ close  button. Thank you for our cooperation.
